Koto Ensemble at PARADISE AIR

We are pleased to announce a FREE koto concert by Josh Faber-Hammond (USA), a koto player and composer currently residing at PARADISE AIR. Josh is plays koto in Oregon Koto-Kai and is a multi-instrumentalist with an extensive musical background.

We are delighted to welcome renowned koto players Hayato Kobayashi and Yuka Nagatani as special guest performers. The one-hour performance will feature both solo and ensemble pieces incorporating original compositions.

Akimatsuri (Fall Festival) @ Pacific University

Pacific University Japan club is hosting its annual Akimatsuri event on November 11th from 5-8pm at the University Center! "Akimatsuri" is a Japanese word meaning fall festival. Come celebrate the season!

Join us for traditional Japanese performances while enjoying Japanese food in the UC dining hall. We will have mini games with prizes, and a chance to enter a raffle! This event is open to Pacific students, the Forest Grove and Pacific community alike. All are welcome!

Shift Festival (sono_kiri solo performance)

SHIFT Festival is an annual gathering produced by Tectonic. It is a 4-day camping event in the ethos of TTITD. The aim is to create a culture of fun and appreciation for art, music, and self-expression.

SHIFT has the Tectonic main stage where DJ’s play, a second stage with live music and variety show performances, a dedicated fire spinning space, and a beach stage next to a small body of water.
