This was the debut performance of 'Old & New' from OKK's 14th Annual Concert at Portland State University's Lincoln Hall on October 26th, 2025. This piece was composed by Josh Faber-Hammond in 2023 during his music residencies in Japan at 3331 Arts Chiyoda and PARADISE AIR.

The theme of this piece, 'Old & New', is meant to capture the feeling of walking through the streets of Tokyo and finding beautiful and serene temples and shines, reminiscent of ancient Japan, juxtaposed with modern technology and architecture.

I arranged this Radiohead song, originally from their 2007 album ‘In Rainbows’, for koto ensemble with 4 koto parts and one bass koto part. This piece was commissioned for Oregon Koto-Kai’s 10th Annual Concert, which was streamed virtually in the fall of 2021. The piece is now part of OKK’s live performance repertoire.

This was the debut performance of my 2021 composition "Ame no Niwa" from Oregon Koto-Kai's 11th Annual Concert at Portland Japanese Garden. This original piece was the final track on the album ‘Uchi nite’ and was inspired Oregon’s typical cloudy and drizzly weather that allows for beautiful gardens and greenery all year long.

This koto duet is the title track from my 2021 album 'Uchi nite', and features a standard 13-string koto and 17-string bass koto. This piece has a written score and is being rehearsed for future live performances.
