Party Off The Grid 2026 News

Blast from the past. Here’s a little POTG nostalgia for you all!

***This is a private event, and we aim to keep attendance limited to maintain a small footprint. You can invite others, but please don't invite more than a few extra folks and only those who will appreciate this type of underground event.***

Update 6/12/26

Basic info:
Your favorite camping weekend for musicians and music lovers is right around the corner. As usual, we'll have acts on Friday night and Saturday all day featuring some of Portland's finest artists. In the spirit of experimentation, there will also be opportunities for open improvisation/collaboration among the trees, so bring your favorite musical toys, acoustic or electronic. We are watching the weather closely and based on the forecast the location will be decided and posted a day or two before the event. Our possible sites have plenty of camping but limited parking, so PLEASE CARPOOL if possible.

We plan to camp in a high elevation area where weather can change in an instant. We're hoping for sun, but be prepared for cold, rain and maybe some mosquitoes before the sun goes down.

Bring as many pop-ups, tarps, ropes and bungees as you can so we can build a tarp city if necessary. Also, bring at least one bundle of FIREWOOD per carload, more if you can fit it. A lot of the wood around our site might be wet or picked clean.

Things we highly recommend you bring:
-Donations (Although the event is free, we are paying for gas for generators, infrastructure, and other various supplies. You can send donations via Venmo to @Joshua-Faber-Hammond)
-Firewood (at least one or two bundles per car would help)
-Trash bags (Pack out what you pack in, obviously)
-Trowel & TP (No facilities, you're in the woods so be prepared to dig a hole)
-Cold weather/rain gear
-Tarps/rope/bungies
-Sunscreen
-Bugspray
-Food/beer/water (at least enough for yourself for the weekend)
-Tent/sleeping bags
-Camping chairs
-Flashlights/lanterns
-Extra things highly encourage you to bring if you have them:
-Instruments
-Art
-Inflatable Furniture!!!
-Pop-up canopies
-Portable tables
-Outdoor games, and specifically bocci ball sets if you have them. We often organize a mega bocci ball game.
-Cool lights (battery powered or solar charged is good, rope lights are great too)

Thanks for joining us. Can't wait to camp and make music with all of you. See you in the woods in a few weeks!!!
